Week 1:
Monday January 13th - Wheelchair Aussie Hoops Come N' Try Day
Join us for the Ford Aussie Hoops Wheelchair Come N' Try Day! This fun, inclusive event is open to kids aged 7-15 (exceptions made). No prior basketball experience is required, and wheelchairs will be provided for those who need them. Coaching will be led by Victorian Institute of Sport Wheelchair Basketball athletes. Come try wheelchair basketball, make new friends, and discover the joy of the sport!
Tuesday January 14th - Day 1: 1v1 Skill Development
Wednesday January 15th - Day 2: 1v1 King/Queen of the Court
King and Queen of the Court! A 2-Day basketball camp that is perfect for improving your individual skills and testing them in a competitive setting. Day 1 focuses on 1v1 Skill Development, including ball handling, footwork, finishing moves, and defensive containment. Day 2 brings the excitement of a 1v1 Tournament, where players will compete for the title of King and Queen of the Court. Don’t miss out on the chance to elevate your game and claim the crown! Friday January 17th - See Her, Be Her
See Her, Be Her is an empowering All Girls Basketball Camp for female athletes aged 9-14, focused on skill development, competitiveness, and fun! Featuring the Southside Flyers, participants will have a unique opportunity to improve their game and learn from the best in a high-energy, supportive environment. This camp is designed to boost confidence, enhance abilities, and inspire young athletes through the guidance of strong female role models in the sport If you can see her, you can be her!
Week 2:
Monday January 20th - 3XCup Qualifier
MCBA 3XCup will act as a qualifier for Basketball Victoria’s 3XCup competition. FIBA 3x3 points will be awarded which qualifies teams for the 3xCup state qualifiers in 2025.
Age Groups:
U11 – Born 2015, 2016, 2017
U13 – Born 2013 & 2014
U15 – Born 2011 & 2012
U17 – Born 2000 & 20010
U19 – Born 2007 & 2008
*Teams must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 players.
